Delete your Saara data
Last updated: 29 July 2026
Saara is local-first. Your data lives only on your device — Realmaya keeps no copy on any server, so there is nothing for us to hold or delete. You delete your data directly, and it is gone.
How to delete your data
- Erase everything on a device (in the app): open Saara → Settings → Reset local data → confirm. This permanently removes all tasks, areas, your integrity history, captures (photos/audio/video) and settings on that device.
- Or uninstall Saara: removing the app deletes its entire on-device database and captures.
- Disconnect Google (if you used sync): Settings → Google Tasks sync → Disconnect. Tasks and events you had synced remain in your own Google account until you delete them there (or delete them in Saara while connected, which removes them from Google too). Manage them at myaccount.google.com.
- Remove your AI key (if you added one): Settings → Saara AI → clear the key. It is stored in your device’s secure keystore and is deleted with it.
What is deleted, what is kept
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Tasks, areas, integrity history, captures, settings, participant numbers | Deleted from the device on Reset or uninstall — permanently, with no server copy anywhere. |
| Items you synced to Google | Kept in your Google account until you delete them there (or in Saara while connected). |
| Data held by Realmaya | None — we operate no server and store nothing, so there is no retention period on our side. |
